Pounding Pneumonia

Recently, I came down with a bad case of Pneumonia. Today, you will hear my whole story on how I survived and how it all played out.

It all started with high fevers in Estes Park. Believe it or not, my fever got to the highest of 104 degrees. I remember that terrible feeling I had of headache and coughing. Then, when we arrived back home, I still wasn't feeling the greatest. Coughing and headaches continued.

My mom wanted me to sleep in her bed with her because, she was concerned about me. So, we were in bed and I believe I asked for something to drink. So, my dad went downstairs to grab me something. Then, after I drank that, I went back to bed. A few minutes later, my mom felt my forehead, said I was a bit hot and wanted my dad to check my temperature. It was around 103-104 degrees. So, my parents decided I needed to go to the ER.

My dad took me there. They checked me out, gave me medicine to help the fever, then said they were going to need to transport me to go to a different hospital to stay overnight. So, I ended up riding in an ambulance to get there. It was a very comfy ride since I got to ride in a bed. (I for sure stayed up past midnight that night).

Even though the food tasted like cafeteria food, I had a decent amount of stuff to do there. Play games on a T.V. and even play on a "Wii" and of course draw and sleep. It wasn't the most fun, but I made the most of it.

To conclude, the Pneumonia night was definitely something to never forget. Especially for me.

"Pneumonia" sucks

Mountain Memories

The mountains. A place I can be myself. A place where I can bathe in happiness. My favorite part? Well, that's not easy. Family, memories and scenery is what comes to mind. When I here the words, "We're going to the mountains!" I immediately jump up and down in my mind. But in reality, I say "Yesss!" My mind is elsewhere when my mom and dad start to talk about when we'll leave and what we will do. Although, there's one part of this specific trip that I am not incredibly happy about. We all know that nana and papa aren't staying any nights and won't be around as much this trip. But, I understand it's better for them to stay behind then to suffer. Now For particulars in terms of people who make mountain trips special.

  1.   Nana~ Always bringing crafts and fun things to do and trying to make the trip as special as possible.
  2. Papa~ Always cooking up mouthwatering (traditional) jambalaya. (This time my dad's doing it! Go dad)!
  3. Dad~ Always making the best wood burning fire there is. As well as being the man of the music and making "our" cabin the best.
  4. Mom~ Always looking on the bright side of things making our cabin delightful to be in. As well as doing all the prep work. (Go mom)!
  5. Noah~ Bringing smiles to our faces as his rough and tumble play adds a tinge of laughter to it.
Finally, the mountains as we all know is "Da bomb!".

Bye-Bye American Pie

I know what you're thinking. "Bye, bye American Pie, the Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry". But, no. You are far from the answer. Let's begin. Bones was a great dog. More than great. Although, every dog has it's flaws. There were just a few things we couldn't get under control. I remember those days. Running in the sunshine, playing around. I cry every night. My grief has gotten out of control. The "good news" according to my parents is, we found a good home for him. I hope he has a good rest of his life. The memories haunt me still... Bones, me, sunshine, run. Four words I remember. And never will forget. I have friends who have dogs. Those dogs always make me have the flashback: A long, long time ago, playing around in the sunshine, there lived a young and happy girl and her dog. It does make me sad every time. My terrible luck with pets. Oh, and if you're thinking this: what about Sammy? Don't. He's as boring as ever. I feed him, take him out of his cage to walk around. He gives me nothing in return but boredom. Emoticons to describe how I'm feeling. And yes, this is the only time I will use emoticons: :( :O : - and that's how I feel about this situation, unexpected.

Also how I feel.

How I feel, and maybe how Bones feels.

Alpha Adversity

Today I'm starting off by saying Bones (my dog) is a very sweet boy. He has mostly every good trait but 2. Firstly, food. He loves food and will do anything to get it. So, if you are in our house, the words you will mostly hear are, "No Bones!". Next, Bones does not do well alone in the house. Whenever we come home from whatever it is, Bones has almost alway destroyed something. Until now. We have started to crate train him and it has been going better.

Bones also enjoys my Dad. He will follow my Dad around anywhere. My Dad even told me that it is starting to get annoying. But, he is dealing with it. As most of you know, my Dad is considered the Alpha when it comes to Bones. Then, that ties in to why my Dad is being followed around to much. But, We all know that dogs love being social. At least most of them do.

Thus, Dogs are great companions, (like Bones) all dogs have their flaws and their good traits. Like humans do! We are close relitives to them. In the mammal department. As we have learned, dog is man's best friend. (As they say).

Living Life

Life in the life of a writer. Always a question that's being asked. You've got your answer right here.

My life has it's ups and downs. Opportunities and disappointments. Yes's and No's. You get the idea. But, I know 100 percent that I love living life. No matter if It's good or bad. We all know it's part of life. I know we all live life how we want it to be lived.

I for one, think life is great! The reason why I love life is because of my Nerophobia. For any of  you who don't know what Nerophobia is, it's the fear of death. Of course that's why I love life.

Anyway, you get the basic picture.

Live life the way you want it to be lived.

My Dreaded Dream Vacation

Lately I have been thinking about my dream vacation. What would it be? The beach, just a hotel? Several people have asked me this question and to be honest I never thought this would be asked. But, my dream vacation would probably be somewhere with a beach. For example Florida or California.

Then we come to the topic of why my dream vacation would be dreadful. Well, we come to a whole new topic. Why it would be dreadful is because, planes. I have a fear when it comes to planes. It always is the simple phrase, "What if". Now, I have heard too many people tell me that this is quite an absurd phrase to use. But, I guess you could say I am a bit of a "Worry Wart" sometimes. (A.K.A all the time).

In conclusion, I have learned to enjoy life just the way it is. Life is never a dull moment.

Live. Life. Awesome. Always.

Holiday Havoc

The holidays. Everyone is running around buying presents and anything they can get before the "Good gifts" run out. Everyone knows (or at least should know) that the holidays are NOT about the presents. It is about enjoying each other's company and spending quality time together. Yes, the presents are part of it, but 25 percent of the whole holiday. I beleive "Santa Claus" is geting in the way of the holiday Christmas. Children beleive that "Santa Claus" is the best person in the world. Not knowing that your parents deserve all the credit. Also, parents go all out trying to impress their children. It's not all about the money. You don't need to spend a million dollors on just one holiday. Furthermore, parents have their children beleiving in all sorts of things. For one, "Leprecauhns". Seriously, going around your house and destroying stuff to make your children happy, I don't think so. Same with Easter. That's a holiday to basiclly give your children a bunch of candy. In conclusion, holidays can be very messed up some times. THE END. Oh and one more thing watch this AWESOME video:
