Stay Summer

Oh, how summer is taunting us. "Just 6 more weeks..." it says. Then, once it is summer, it goes by so quickly and before you know it, it's August.
But, the time we do have during summer, I want to live it up! Have parties, play around, and most of all, have fun! Summer is great time off, and most people don't take advantage of it. I however, do. I view it as a time for catching up on academics, sports, and fun.
I have made a full list of things I want to do this summer. Here it is (still to be revised):

  1. Work my tail off on math.
  2. Read, read, read.
  3. Write stories and books.
  4. Re-do my whole entire room.
  5. Get active.
  6. Stay up late.
  7. Have as much fun as possible.
I hope this summer is warm, fun, and time filling! Also, a time to hang out with friends, family and most of all, have fun!

I wish my summers were as warm and fun as this!

Suprising Springsteen

Oh man, yesterday night. "Baby we are born to run!" When we finally found our seats I was bouncing off the walls. Suddenly, the lights dimmed and people started cheering and chanting "Bruuuce!" I joined in and was ready to be transformed. Several minutes later, the lights dimmed again and came on again. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band hopped on stage. I went wild. Then, he shouted out, "Denverrr, I'm so glad to be in the Mile High city tonight!" I went crazy once again. Yes Dad, you were right. He played "Meet Me in the City" first. Springsteen's still got that awesome voice and upbeat movement. Later, the song I was waiting for started. "I got a wife and kids in Baltimore Jack, I went out for a ride and I never went back..." I sang along to every song and cheered like a maniac. The concert went on a while but, we left a bit early. I am so glad that I went and yes, it did change my life.
