Bye-Bye American Pie

I know what you're thinking. "Bye, bye American Pie, the Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry". But, no. You are far from the answer. Let's begin. Bones was a great dog. More than great. Although, every dog has it's flaws. There were just a few things we couldn't get under control. I remember those days. Running in the sunshine, playing around. I cry every night. My grief has gotten out of control. The "good news" according to my parents is, we found a good home for him. I hope he has a good rest of his life. The memories haunt me still... Bones, me, sunshine, run. Four words I remember. And never will forget. I have friends who have dogs. Those dogs always make me have the flashback: A long, long time ago, playing around in the sunshine, there lived a young and happy girl and her dog. It does make me sad every time. My terrible luck with pets. Oh, and if you're thinking this: what about Sammy? Don't. He's as boring as ever. I feed him, take him out of his cage to walk around. He gives me nothing in return but boredom. Emoticons to describe how I'm feeling. And yes, this is the only time I will use emoticons: :( :O : - and that's how I feel about this situation, unexpected.

Also how I feel.

How I feel, and maybe how Bones feels.

Alpha Adversity

Today I'm starting off by saying Bones (my dog) is a very sweet boy. He has mostly every good trait but 2. Firstly, food. He loves food and will do anything to get it. So, if you are in our house, the words you will mostly hear are, "No Bones!". Next, Bones does not do well alone in the house. Whenever we come home from whatever it is, Bones has almost alway destroyed something. Until now. We have started to crate train him and it has been going better.

Bones also enjoys my Dad. He will follow my Dad around anywhere. My Dad even told me that it is starting to get annoying. But, he is dealing with it. As most of you know, my Dad is considered the Alpha when it comes to Bones. Then, that ties in to why my Dad is being followed around to much. But, We all know that dogs love being social. At least most of them do.

Thus, Dogs are great companions, (like Bones) all dogs have their flaws and their good traits. Like humans do! We are close relitives to them. In the mammal department. As we have learned, dog is man's best friend. (As they say).
